Is it normal for a Non B work permit to report an employer's address instead of my actual home address?

I have a Non B work permit. My work location is in Petchaburi but I live in Prachuabkhirikhan. I recently found out that my work company has changed my home address for 90 day reporting to Petchaburi (work address not my home address). This seems odd to me.

Is this normal for Non B work visas or should I correct it to my actual home address? I think its a no brainer but thought I best check first. Thanks in advance👍

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned that their employer has changed their 90-day reporting address to their work location in Petchaburi instead of their actual home address in Prachuabkhirikhan. They seek clarification on whether this practice is typical for Non B work permits. A commenter noted that individuals usually report their own home addresses for 90-day reports and pointed out that while they can work in one province, their reporting should reflect their actual residence.

how would your employer change your home address for 90 day reporting? You file your own 90 day reports

I know people who work in one province but live in another and they get the extension at the immigration office in the province they work in but do their 90 day reporting at the immigration office in the province where they live

you'll have to file a new TM30 to show you live in the address covered by that immigration office

The admin took over the reporting but was off one month so I went to do it myself in HH and they told me I am in the wrong province. Surprize! 😲
