Where should I file my first 90-day report: in Bangkok or Pathum Thani?

First 90 day report advice please.

I need to do my first report this week but I’m confused about some logistics and the person who’s meant to assist me from my work isn’t much help and doesn’t know what to do 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ so I’m after some constructive advice please.

My employer is based in bkk but I work and live in Pathum Thani. My visa etc was all done at Chaengwattana, and work permit at some other location in bkk. I was told when I got my visa stamp that I should do my first report at Muang Thongthani, but I’m confused because I live in a different province and I’m not sure the officer who told me to report at MTT knew that. So, my questions are 1) should I be doing my first report in bkk or the province I live in (Pathum Thani)? and 2) does it actually matter where the report is done?

Still learning a lot of the intricacies of how things work here so I apologise if this is basic to most and I appreciate any constructive advice and knowledge. TIA 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The first 90-day report should be filed at the immigration office that serves the area where you actually live, which in your case is Pathum Thani. Even if your employer is in Bangkok and your visa was processed there, the report is linked to your residential address. If you're unsure, it's advisable to have your employer contact the local immigration office in Pathum Thani to confirm this.

Can I leave on exactly day 90 without bothering with 90 day report?

You are correct you do your 90 day report at Pathumthani. I work in Nonthaburi, but do my 90 at Pathumthani

IF I was a betting man I'd say you do your 90 day report (which is to report YOUR address) at the immigration office that serves the area where you LIVE (meaning Pathum Thani) and it would not be done at the immigration office that serves the place where you work (and had to get your extension from).

Have your employer call them and ask for you

I have no idea but I guess I should ask the condo management where they did it?

Dobey Wan Kenobe. Ok. It's actually the responsibility of the landlord, nothing to do with condo management. However, whoever did it should have given you the receipt as this is supposed to be tacked into your passport. I'd contact the landlord.
