JD, He's been my accountant for 3 and a half years so far. I've paid him big money compared to my modest income but I have to say he's always been efficient and punctual with papers. Cannot complain

Can you recommend any accountant?

And Chiara I bet you got a BIG Bill from the agent who formed your company and got the Non B and WP

My point is Money Talks in Thailand and without paying large sums getting a Non B and Work Permit even for a Registered Business owner is an ordeal. And some of the money involved may not have been for legitimate fees.

And what large amount did you pay ... 50,000 THB?

What should be the cost to open a 2 million capital company with 1 work permit?

What I did, I opened the company, I got the non b with the company papers, and I got the wp after all that.

maybe this is another samuian thing. I start to understand samui is like a different country ๐Ÿค”

Tod, I'm not sure because the stack of papers was prepared by my accountant and it was a huge pile. I got the NON B visa in Italy and the WP a couple of months after I came back with the visa. But that was some time ago and I don't really know what was in the papers. :)

What I was told was that many factor of your company would affect some of the processes.

When you company opened, what type of your company is, who is the director, how much is the capital, etc., etc.

Procedure for WP from existing company and from starting up company would be different.

From my experience before , never don't like this before. First getting non b visa on the name of the company and after asking for WP. All lawyer in samui told me the same

@Chi***
, I would almost bet that the "company papers" you used to get the Non-B had the receipt of having applied for a work permit in the packet.

There're only a couple thai consulates that will issue a Non-B without that receipt.

it's pretty similar to my own case...

That's what I understand too, but people here say it's different

The Non-B visa you get after you have the WP. Or if abroad with the WP3 form (application is made). If you have all the papers you can apply for work permit, in Krabi they give a list which papers needed at Ministry of Labor. They are very kind and helping.

Ok, thank you.

If you have all the papers, you apply when papers are correct it take 1 week to progress the work permit.

So, as for my question, is it more difficult to make WP for new company? My Thai staff told me it's can't take longer then to already exist company. Is it right?

I got single entry (three month) non-B outside of Thailand with paper. Then applied WP in Thailand. And get 1 year Non-B with this WP...

@Amir *****
no, that's not correct, you apply for a work permit and get a "receipt of application" from the Ministry of Labor, then you use that to get your Non-B

First time I hear that you get the non b visa after WP. I know that to apply for WP you must have non b visa
