TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on obtaining a work permit for a job offer from a foreign company that cannot assist with the process. Community comments suggest several options, including forming a company to act as a consultant for the foreign employer, which requires hiring Thai staff and meeting minimum capital requirements. Additionally, some emphasize that work permits cannot be arranged independently and must be associated with a registered company.

I agree with most of what the others have posted about work permits and add a couple points. You can have multiple work places and even multiple employers listed in the one book. You can also have the work place as as a region. My company, for example, provides a freelance service and my "work area" is anywhere in Thailand.

You can try to work through Iglu, they are a middleman for this kind of situation

Yes you can set up an company and then as mention Bill Them for being advisor for them but now you will need office Thai staff and etc an minimum capital of 2million in the company it's a long process and if you do go true all this when you in the end get the company set up and work permit then you will have to add teh location of the other company in your work permit as well

You can form your own company and then Bill the other company but you must also register a branch of your own company at the company location you are working

it’s doable as a start up company won’t have to show the SSO for 3 months just yet. They just need to hire for a start just to show existence of Thai staffs in the company.

Andre Affendie Phuttharat

Then they will need 2 staff

@Robert ******
not unless they open the company and named themselves as one of the directors. WP can be issued based on this for a start up company.

But than you still need Thai partners and 4 Thai staff for 1 work permit.

You can not arrange a Work Permit as independent, it must be backed up by a company.
