Question ... is it a problem if my return flight is after the date of my non immigrant O visa (spouse of workpermit holder) My O visa is valid till March 4th 2021 but now applying for a COE and leaving hopefully on 30/12.
I assumed the 90days were starting from my departure 🤦♀️but realized my visa date was from date of issue. The plan is to extend my O visa for one year. Does the airline check the date of return? Flying with Qatar.
Is it better I change my return flight ?
Thank you☺️for your advices

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the timing of their return flight in relation to the expiry of their Non-O visa, which is valid until March 4, 2021. There are comments indicating that for long-term visas like their Non-O, a return flight is generally not required due to the expectation of visa extensions while in Thailand. Other commenters share personal experiences suggesting airlines and immigration might not enforce return ticket requirements strictly for such visa types, emphasizing that the visa validity mainly pertains to entering Thailand.

I once got heckled by check in staff when returning to thailand from Australia. I have a non o spouse extension. She said I needed a return ticket.. I told her it WAS a return ticket, I'm returning to thailand, and I didnt need one anyway. After looking in my passport, she still made a fuss.. after getting her to call an immigration officer over, she finally conceded when he told her I was right. 2 hours later I boarded the flight and she was one of the flight attendants.. she wasn't happy.. 🙃
