Hello, does someone know about the opening days of Chaeng Wattana Immigration on Songkran this year.
Will it be just the 3 days [11-13] as before or now the whole week [as they have now extended it]
Related to this, I have an Non-O visa /Thai Wife. Next extension is due for 15th May.
How long before that date can i apply for the extension. Is it just a month or can it be earlier than that?
Thanks for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Chaeng Wattana Immigration Office is expected to be closed on specific days during Songkran, including the 15th and 16th, but may also observe closures on additional days depending on government announcements. Regarding the Non-O visa extension, you can apply for an extension any time from 45 days prior to your current visa's expiration date, meaning from April 1st for a renewal due on May 15th.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES

, could be, but as of today, Immigration Bureau doesn't list 12 April 2024 as a holiday yet. Keep watching.

It shows on the bangkok immigration holiday calendar they will be closed the 15th and 16th (they list the 13th and 14th but those are Sat/Sun and offices are closed anyway those days ๐ )
I'd say we have to wait until closer to the actual holiday to see if the government adds more official days (where gov/t offices are closed) to the holiday.

In Bangkok you can apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current stamp.
So you can apply for your new yearly extension any time from April 1st onward.
