Is business registration sufficient evidence for obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand if I am not yet operating?

I just recently registered my business and am not going to be operating until later in the year. So I don't have any evidence apart from the business registration. Is that enough evidence of self employment to get the DTV visa?

Besides that, I can meet all other requirements (e.g. 500,000k in the bank).

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around whether business registration is adequate proof of self-employment for obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand, especially since the user is not yet operating their business. Responses indicate that while payslips are commonly requested, they are not mandatory. Providing additional documentation like the business registration, an outline of the business, personal role, and contracts may strengthen the application. The overall consensus is optimistic about the feasibility of acquiring the visa under these circumstances.

There is no minimum income requirement so having a new business should be fine. Provide business registration, outline of business, your role, any contracts you have.

They keep asking for payslips, even tho its not in thw requirements... maybe ask your embassy first?

They want to verify income with deposits on bank statements which is one reason they ask for pay slips. If you not getting payslips, you can show an invoice.

they do that for soft power too, but income is not a requirement thats why its a bit odd... they could just add it, if its a must. I think some visa has income requirement, so why not this one? Well, its Thailand yeah but anyway 😝

Yep, that's right SPers treated the same, soft Power applicants in Taipei were caught out by that when I was there. No regular income requirement but the 500K shows you have financial independence for 6 months . This visa covers a lot of different visitors which may explain the no minimum income requirement.

This is a question I have too. Will be interesting to see the answers but particularly which location

I know in London, some new business owners get approved. The 500k covers your financial stability which is why there is no minimum income requirement. Detail your business, your position Inc contracts you have. Taipei does not like new contracts with no payment history, I'd avoid going there.

It is an option although no record of earnings as yet. Everything else is no problem.

If you have the company articles and EIN document you should be fine using that.
