TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the chances of visa approval for study options in Thailand, specifically for the DTV visa. It indicates that Muay Thai training is generally a good option for DTV visa approval, particularly if the training gym provides the necessary documentation. However, studying the Thai language alone may not be sufficient, as it typically falls under the Educational (ED) visa. Successful applicants should choose legitimate schools, ensure they have proper documents, and maintain consistent financial and personal records to avoid rejections.

yes, it can be, if done properly

Muay Thai or Thai language are both valid Soft Power study options for DTV as long as:

• The school is legitimate and registered

• You have official documents (enrolment letter, course details, duration)

• Your finances and background are clean and consistent

Most rejections people talk about are usually due to weak paperwork, not the study option itself.

Muay Thai training... yes Good chance approved with training gym that hss successfully provided the important documents for your application.

Language study... alone is not a good choice. There's several combination language study and Thai nature studies which has seen successful granting of the DTV visa. Be careful in choosing the course sponsor which has successfully provided the important documents for the DTV visa.

Language comes under the Ed visa. Muay Thai is a DTV option.
