What are the costs and approval chances for a DTV cooking course in Thailand?

How much did you guys pay for your cooking course to apply for the DTV ?

I came across an ad earlier that charges ard 9000 THB over a 5-year course with only 1 lesson Per mth - over a zoom seminar

.... I wonder if this type will get approved 🤔 ?

This 5-yr deal seems pretty good as the applicant do not have to re-sign up for another course everytime we need to renew for another 180 days

Anyone tried to apply with something like this and got your approval for the DTV ?

Pls share any better/cheaper deals if you have any 🙂🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the cost and approval process for a cooking course to qualify for a Digital Work Visa (DTV) in Thailand. The author mentions encountering a 5-year online cooking course priced at 9000 THB, which includes one lesson per month and queries if such a course would be acceptable for visa application. Community comments provide varied perspectives, including earlier approvals for different cooking courses, skepticism about the value of the course, and suggestions for other options. One user confirms a similar course that helped get their DTV approved at 10,000 THB.

DiscoverThaiNature.com offers a series of monthly classes with which my DTV was approved. I think it was 10,000 bht.

Can you point me in the direction of the cooking class. Any links? Thanks

If you do the course online, why do you need a visa to be in Thailand, you could do it just as easily at home.

If you worked at the embassy would you give someone a 5 year visa for that?

yes I noticed all the rest of the Muay Thai and Cooking courses cost MUCH more than this one , and it seems there are a number of countries not giving approval for this type of online course 🫤
