Is a proof of reservation enough for a visa or do they ask for a proof of payment (invoice).
Those are two different things and the hotel confirmation doesn’t show that anything has been paid on it.

I put a deposit on my room only. The hotel sent me a "full paid" receipt. Payed the rest before I left the hotel.

I used a booking.com confirmation (pay on arrival) for 1st hotel. But cancelled it due to test and go starting up again And a paid diving safari for 2nd booking. I get tv no problem. It’s not as strict as thai pass application. Because Basically, they just need to be assured that you have enough money for your trip and you plan on leaving again 🤷♀️

My sister just applied for tourist visa, and they asked for the full receipt from the hotel and details of payment and whats included in the price. I would say you need the payment proof..

Shouldn't need proof of payment for most Visas.
But the STV does require this.
