We are planning a thailand / malaysia border bounce this weekend. We plan to drive to as close to the Satun boarder as possible and then cross over on foot and come straight back in again… does this approach sound doable, is this still allowed? Also what documents will we need if any? I believe we will get 45 days now 1st October has passed. Any advice would be hugely appreciated 🙏🏼

The discussion reveals that border bounces are still allowed, and it seems that the user expects to receive a 45-day entry permit due to a recent rule change. There are mentions of potential extensions at immigration and the limitations regarding the length of stay based on the method of entry.
