Is it possible to get a border bounce at the Myanmar border?
Answer summary
The post discusses the possibility of performing a border bounce at the Myanmar border to extend a stay in Thailand. Participants confirm that it is indeed possible, especially for American passport holders, who can typically do two border bounces per calendar year. They mention specific borders, like Mae Sot and Kanchanaburi, and provide anecdotal experiences along with advice on costs involved. There is a caution regarding the ultimate decision being in the hands of the immigration officer.

And NOBODY can give you 100% answer. As you can read in the description of this page, we give advice. The decision of given you an entry in Thailand is made by the Immigration Officer. Good luck.
As already mentioned by two people with the prices of the day pass into Myanmar or with transport in Kanchanaburi, it is a yes. Nice picture of the front of a passport, when it is an original passport and not a counter fitted one, it should be okay.
I am an American. I flew in from LAX, and did the usual 30 days. Then got an extension. Now I need to do a boarder bounce. Can I do that without flying to Vietnam or Laos?
Depends on the country of origin of your passport and how many times you did a border bounce this year. No correct answer possible wihout knowing these details.
