Hi!

I'm on a non B multiple entry visa with WP.

Looking for some up to date info about the border bounces and how and where the 'stay out overnight' rule is being enforced.

I live in Ko Lanta, so I usually go to the Wang Prachang border in Satun, although Pedang Besar is also an option. Not sure if there are other options available that can be done in one day?

I'm not after last month's information, only recent experiences please. I need to go before the end of the month.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking updated information on the 'stay out overnight' rule for border bounces related to their Non-B multiple entry visa, specifically near Ko Lanta and Satun. There are discussions on various border experiences, suggesting some borders with Malaysia may require a day outside Thailand, while others report successful same-day returns. The user has already reached out to local groups for recent experiences but is looking for additional detailed, current feedback.

I already posted on the local groups of Ko Lanta, but only a few did a border bounce in January so far and got off with a warning. So I was hoping to find some people here that might have used those borders more recently.

I don't really feel like being stuck at the border for the night...

post on one of the f/b groups related to the islands here and you'll get better answers. Those are the people who bounce out and in down there.

There are reports that more of the borders with Malaysia now require you to spend 24 hours in the country before you can stamp back into thialand. Certainly if you pick one that requires that it won't be the end of the world. BUT again to get up to date advice post on one of the island groups

Bouncing in and out of a land border is based on your country's passport. I'm not sure where Ko Lanta is located at. Some borders require you to spend 24 hours out of the country. I'm also not sure what "can be done in one day" means?

I think the best way is to take a flight out to wherever, and fly back in. You have a valid Multiple Entry visa, and there should be no problems using that process.

Thanks, but flying is a pretty expensive solution just to get my stamp renewed.
