If I get a new passport, will my approved DTV still be valid?

I've been approved for a DTV, but I'm running out of pages in my passport. Since immigration officers love to completely waste pages by stamping 3 pages ahead, I only have maybe 10 more pages. Which I'm not sure will last 5 years. If I have to get a new passport, will my DTV still apply?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is concerned about running out of pages in their passport while holding a DTV visa in Thailand. They ask whether they can still use the DTV if they need to get a new passport. Responses suggest carrying both the old and new passports and inform that immigration officials can make notes about the old passport in the new one, ensuring the DTV remains valid.

The visa is on pdf. You can renew the passport and stamp a new one on re entry

I don't know if the rules have changed but when I used to travel a lot and ran out of pages, I was able to have pages added. That option may be long gone.

There's no law to say pages in passports must be used in order. When I've been running short on space, I've requested previous blank pages be used, and there's been no problem with that

If you have a US passport always check the box for the 52 page version.

First, you will do new passport at your country embassy in bangkok

Second, you carry old and new passport to the immigration near your living and the agent at the immigration can do stamp reference in new passport from old passport

If you run out of pages, you can make a new one at your ambassy in bkk. After you carry the two passport at immigration, they will deal with it.

10 pages, and you had also space on previous pages will be enough, if you don't plan to travel every month

You can just carry both passports with you until the DTV expires, or go to immigration where they will make a notation in your new passport referencing your old passport number that is on the DTV PDF printout.
