Can I apply for a further extension of stay in Thailand after renewing my passport while on an OA visa?

I entered Thailand on an OA visa 14 months ago and I am currently on an extension of stay until November 2022. I need a passport renewed before then. Obviously I won't get an OA visa reentered into my new passport as it can only be done abroad. But does that give me an opportunity to have further extension of stay stamp beyond my current stamp once it is transferred over to my new passport or will my new passport somehow be marked specially to say on an OA visa no further extensions? The current stamp says no such thing. Its an odd question and situation perhaps we need the guru Mr Daniels thoughts first?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice regarding their OA visa situation after they renew their passport, particularly if they can obtain a further extension of stay stamp when transferring their visa from the old passport to the new one. Comments affirm that as long as the user meets the requirements, they can apply for new yearly extensions using their new passport, without a limitation on the number of extension applications.

You would not have any problem applying for a new yearly extension with your new passport as long as you meet the requirements.

When you receive your new passport, bring old and new passports and the letter the embassy issues to the Immigration office, then apply for transfer stamps. Then you will be fine for new extension applications in the future. There is no limitation on how many times you can apply for a long-term extension.

But remember, even you change to your new passport, your stamps are linked to your original Non-OA entry stamp, which means you need to keep meeting the requirement for yearly extension from Non-OA.
