Does anyone know, when applying for an ED Visa, do you put the end date of the course/your intended departure date at 1 year from now (if you have booked a year course) or just the initial 3 months? The documents prepared by the school seem to say 3 months when I have google translated them, and I know you have to report every 90 days, but I obviously wouldn't be intending to leave the country after 3 months?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for an ED Visa in Thailand, it's unclear whether to put the course end date for a full year or just the initial 3 months. The school's documents suggest 3 months, which aligns with the visa's 90-day reporting requirement. However, one commenter suggested that indicating the full year is appropriate since that is the duration of your course, noting that you will likely receive a 90-day visa regardless. It's also important to remember that ED visas must be extended every 3 months.
