What details do I need to provide when applying for a Non-Immigrant ED visa for language studies in Thailand?

Hello, I was wondering I could get help on some questions I have on my Non-Immigrant ED visa I am applying for through the Thaievisa here in the US. I plan on going to Thailand to study (at a language school not a university or college).

One of the fields is asking my start and end date under programme of study and I’ve been told about the 90 day period and having to extend it. My course is 10 months (we don’t have a concrete start date so I’m having to guess at that but my end would be 10 months after that) so I wasn’t sure if I would put my start and then the end 10 months after or do the start and then only put the end at 90 days after the start since they only do it for 90 days at a time? (I hope that made sense)

Another one would be under intended date of departure would I then have to do the same thing and do 90 days or the 10 months?

Then under the Place of Stay section I chose the option “private property” since I’m staying at my boyfriends parents place but it still asks for accommodation name so I was wondering what I would put there?

Sorry there are so many questions. Thank you for any help you are able to give me!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks for guidance on filling out the Non-Immigrant ED visa application for studying at a language school in Thailand. Key questions include how to enter the course dates, the intended date of departure, and what to write for the accommodation name since they will be staying at their boyfriend's parents' place. Responses suggest that documents from the school are crucial for visa application, and advise using 'Friend's house' for accommodation name.

Like Robert said, you need documents from your school to get a Non-Immigrant ED visa. And your school should be clearly instructing you about what to do. If they aren't, you might want to check reviews online and re-evaluate if this is a good school or not.

I have done all the research and I have been in contact with the school and I know I need documents feel the school for the visa. I’m not sending anything without the documents. I’m asking for when I have the documents that are on their way
Robert *******
As for the name of the place, just fill in Friend house as name of the place and further the correct address.

If you plan to go study, you can not apply for the Non Immigrant ED visa.

You can only apply with documents from a school and registration as a student.

Contact the school where you want to learn and they will provide all needed documents.

I am getting the documents but I have to fill out the form. I’m applying to a language school not a university or college. Sorry I should have clarified that in my initial post.

Oh sorry! I am waiting for the documents. But even with the documents I am not sure whether I can only put the 90 days on the application for the visa or I put the whole 10 months. Sorry if I’m misunderstanding

You can put 10 months if you like, as it is an intended date, not a fixed date.

so under my programme of study section on the visa where it asks for start and end date you think it would be okay to put the full 10 months? Sorry just clarifying. Appreciate your help btw.

Yes, use the dates mentioned on the document from the school as start and end date.

okay thanks! Just wasn’t sure because someone told me I can only put up to the 90 days since that is how long they give you before having to extend it. But I wasn’t sure how that works since my course is 10 months so technically it wouldn’t be ending. It is all confusing lol

Getting documents means wait to you have the documents to use them to apply for a visa.

I’m not going to submit or do anything with it until I have the documents
