Has any Hungarian applied for a DTV visa here?
If yes, how did they fill out the first name and last name in the application?
I have read that they easily reject applications if you miss the middle name, so I guess this part is very strict.
FYI, in Hungary, we say the family name first and then the last name, similar to China.
TLDR : Answer Summary
Hungarian applicants for the DTV visa should fill out their first and last names on the application exactly as they appear in their passport. It's important to note that the family name comes first in Hungary, similar to Chinese naming conventions, but the application should adhere to the standard format used in English: first name followed by surname. Caution is advised to check the automatic data entry by OCR scanners on the application form, as inaccuracies can lead to rejections. The experience of applicants indicates that processing times can be lengthy, especially at the Budapest Embassy.
