Do I need to leave Thailand to process my DTV application for a cookery course in Udon Thani?
Looking at a Thai cookery course in Udon Thani shortly.
The school is saying it will be easier if I visit them first and they will take care of the DTV whilst I am there .
However I will have to enter on a normal 60 day tourist visa I assume.
Will I have to leave Thailand again while this is processing as I believe I can't be there during this process ?

There is no need to enter Thailand and the leave again. You can directly head to another country example Vietnam and apply yourself while coordinating for documents related to Soft Power course online.
