Hi Guys,

I currently live in Kuala Lumpur and would need to go to Bangkok for 2-3 days two or three times a month. How often do I get a VOA?

Thanks for any help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about obtaining a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for frequent trips to Thailand from Kuala Lumpur. Respondents advised that while entry is generally allowed under Visa Exemption, they warned that frequent travelers may face scrutiny from immigration officials. Recommendations included obtaining a correct Thai visa for their travel needs, especially given the expected frequency of visits, and possibly considering APEC membership to ease entry. Key details such as passport nationality and reasons for frequent travel were highlighted as significant factors in immigration decisions.

If you are coming that often, join APEC. Then there will be fewer questions.

Not a problem to enter Thailand Visa EXEMPT...until the Thai Immigration Officer on arrival asks you Why do you want to come to Thailand so many times.. And Denies you Entry. That day likely will come.

Bottom line... Suggest that you get a correct Thai Visa for your planned visits to Thailand.

They're available. Look at the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur website.

BTW what is your passport nation?

Why do you need to enter Thailand several times EACH month?

Are you Married to Thai or Father of Thai child?

Good Luck.
