Hi guys, i need to book a connecting flight to Chiang Mai from Bangkok. I am landing 18h40 at BKK with emirates. There is three options from BKK that time of the day, 20h25, 21h30 and 22h25.
How long do I need to get my bags, go through customs and get to the domestic side? Which of the above mentioned flights should I book?
Thanks in advance!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on booking a connecting flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai after arriving at BKK with Emirates. They want to know how much time is needed to retrieve luggage, pass through customs, and reach the domestic terminal, considering three available flight options. The comments suggest that if your flight has a codeshare agreement, you might not need to collect your luggage at BKK and could have a quick transit. Otherwise, a minimum of 1.5 hours is recommended, but a 4-hour buffer is safer. One commenter advises choosing the latest flight option (22h25) due to potential delays.
