Hi

I booked and paid for a flight from bkk to Heathrow London for the 2nd March 2026 . Using indigo via trip.com. Originally the itinerary was for a 1 hour transfer from Mumbai Airport.

Have now been told that my connecting flight from Mumbai to Heathrow has been moved forward by 25 minutes. This gives me 35 minutes for the connecting flight.

Will 35 minutes be enough time for me to board my connecting flight. sorry to have used the DTV for my issue. Has anyone experience this sort of thing before. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about having only 35 minutes for a connecting flight from Mumbai to Heathrow after their original connection time was reduced from 1 hour. Several comments provide insights on potential issues with short connection times, including the importance of the same PNR, terminal changes, and advice to contact the airline for assistance. Some participants mentioned that it is usually the airline's responsibility to ensure passengers make their connections if booked on the same PNR, while noting the potential need for a transit visa if connections are missed.

No chance I'm afraid.

The good news is the airline will put you on the next available flight to London.

The bad news is if you need to leave Airside you will need to get a transit visa. I don't know how that works if you missed your connection.

Best of luck!

Not a chance, remember landing time is when wheels touch the runway. They do not include taxi to stand and debarkation. If it’s coaches rather than sky bridge your screwed and departing gate normally closes 30 minutes before take off.

I'm not convinced it will because Heathrow won't allow it on a regular basis. It's not one of the busiest airports for nothing.

More likely, they'll all be shunted onto the next Heathrow flight instead.

Anonymous participant 319 maybe give it a shot and see if I get a connecting flight in Mumbai. It is about 5 to 6 weeks away. So things may change again!

If it's booked as connecting im pretty sure they'll hang on for you as other people will be doing the same. Maybe email your flight company?

Basis my experience, if it's on the same PNR then it's the responsibility of the airline to ensure that you either board the flight booked as connection or the next available one.

Suggestions:

- Ensure by questioning at the point where boarding cards are scanned for connection if your luggage has been transferred or not. Sometimes they send the luggage in the next flight due to shortage of time.

- Please email Indigo with your details to double check. If they are unsure then they might offer to put you on to the next flight themselves.

I'm sorry I didn't understand.

Just write to them and ask for their opinion and take it from there.

If they are unsure that you can make the connection then they might provide an alternative themselves to you.
