How much money do I need to apply for a DTV visa in Thailand for myself and my spouse?
Hi, I want to apply for a DTV and then have my spouse join me on that visa.
I have approx. 650,000THB is this enough? Or do I need more because of the spouse?
I plan to apply from Italy.

There ia no such thing as adding a spouse on your visa.
A visa is personal, each applicant has to apply separate and gets his own visa.
The type of visa a spouse can get is the dependant of DTV holder type.

Depends on the embassy/consulate that processes your application. Some may require 500k per adult while others may allow the same 500k to be used for both the main applicant and the dependent.

UnforgettableRambutan8343 there are indeed some stories of dependants not checked for the 500k requirement, but the rules are clear, alk 3 types of DTV have the 500k requirement.

If you don’t have a joint bank account you need 500,000 thb each in separate accounts I got caught out with this as thought I could use my husband’s bank account it was well over 1 million bht but wasn’t excepted was told everyone over the age of 20 had to show 500,000 bht I had to wait 10 days before I could submit my additional documents
