Just want to share my peaceful and spiritually enriching journey applying for a DTV Visa in Beijing for my daughter (dependant). 🇹🇭😂

📅 3rd August: Payment made and Documents submitted.

📅 19th August: More documents requested — latest ID + Birth Certificate with English translation to prove that yes… she is indeed my daughter. 😂 Submitted everything the same day.

📅 25th August: Silence…

Krik… krik… krik… 🦗🦗🦗

📅 26th August: The silence continues…

Status: Pending Documents Check.

At this point, I’m no longer checking the visa status.

The visa status is checking my mental stability. 😂

My advice:

If you love peace, silence, meditation, mystery, suspense, and absolutely no spoilers, Beijing might be the perfect place to apply. 🧘‍♂️😂

Maybe one morning I’ll wake up and see “Approved.”

Or maybe my daughter will be old enough to apply for her own DTV by then. 🤣

DTV_BegPecker we are mongolian and I went back to mongolian recently. We have no other choices except for Beijing.

Ah ok. Well you are allowed to be in Mongolia while you wait, since the Thai embassy in Beijing oversees Mongolian applicants. You don’t need to be in China. Some of the documents, like birth certificate, you should have submitted immediately when applying. Furthermore, some embassies put you back at the end of the line when you resubmit new documents. Not sure if this is the case with Beijing, but if it is, it is the same as if you started the process on Aug 19th. Just have to wait
