I’ve just been searching advice at an agent here in Thailand. She told me there is no need to add/apply kids under 14 yo on/for DTV (as dependents) Any thoughts on that ..?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user sought advice regarding whether children under 14 need to be registered as dependents for a DTV visa in Thailand. Responses highlighted that each child requires their own visa for legal residency in Thailand, and while there are specific laws concerning fines and bans for minors, the necessity for a visa for all individuals remains clear.

Well I guess trust a foreigner instead of Thai when asking about Thailand. Afterall this country is based on what foreigner thinks right.

Every foreign passport needs their own visa to legally stay in thailand. I got both my kids a dependant dtv. It was a much easier process than the main application

While it's true that children under 15 can't be fined and under 17 can't be banned, the law is pretty clear that everyone needs a Visa.
