Going to be applying for DTV for me and my son. Can i put both applications in the same time? Or best doing mine then his? If putting both at same time how much funds is it 500k per person? Will be applying via London.

No if your son want to apply as your dependent. Your DTV must get approved first before you can submit his application and yes 500,000 THB is per person. If you use your bank statements to sponsor him you must have 1,000,000 THB to cover 2 applications

thank you. My parent has transferred the funds today as a gift so I am guessing I will be ok to submit as long as funds are high enough as it is quite a bit more than 11k gbp

AND The Thai Embassy or Consulate likely will want to see either 3 months or 6 months of bank account statements... with the account balance of 500,000 Thai baht or More. Look at the website of the Thai Embassy or Consulate for their specific bank account statement requirements.

Some embassies might accept application without funds for the children, but the official requirement is also 500,000 Thai baht for dependants.

It's best to follow the requirements for the DTV visa and dependents with the Thai Embassy or Consulate where the DTV visa application is being submitted.

It appears not all Thai Embassy's or Consulates have the same requirements.

It is funny. Requirement is 500.000 Thb to show at 1 applicaltion.

BUT some will say, your missus and 5 children and 4 parents can all apply with the same 500.000 Thb the bank.

Suddenly the bank requirements is less than 50.000 Thb.
