Info needed RE: Re-entry Permit, Stamps & Passport Pages
What I need to find out: How much space / how many pages must be available in my passport to receive the re-entry permit and whatever stamp(s) are involved?
I am going to apply for a re-entry permit for the first time. Also, I notice I am getting down to the last few spaces / couple of pages remaining in my passport book.
Upon searching this group, I've seen a photo and it appears that the re-entry permit is a full page stamp.
If I am going on a round-trip from Thailand to my home country and then back to Thailand, is this one-page re-entry stamp all that I can expect to incur?
Thanks in advance for providing direct answers!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The re-entry permit for Thailand typically requires about half a page of your passport for the permit itself, plus additional space for the exit stamp when leaving and the new entry stamp upon your return. Expats are advised to have at least one full visa page available, as endorsement pages do not count towards the required space. If your passport is low on pages, it may be wise to consider renewing it.
