As I understand, I can either show a lump sum of 400,000 THB in a Thai account, or a monthly income of 40,000 THB to demonstrate I have enough money.
Does anyone know how many months of income need to be shown?
I plan to apply for a spousal visa next month, but I have only just managed to get a Thai bank account and have only topped it up with minimal funds. Is it too late?
Thank you,

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai marriage visa, you must provide financial proof. You can either show 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account for at least 2 months prior to application or demonstrate a monthly income of 40,000 THB for 12 months. It's also noted that same-sex marriage is not recognized in Thailand, which may affect eligibility for the visa.
For monthly income you show the affidavit of your Embassy with a minimum income of 40.000 Thb a month. Or if your Embassy can not provide this service at least 12 months of foreign deposits of minimum 40.000 Thb into a Thai Bank account on your name Or the last three months tax and sso payments of minimum 40.000 Thb salary inside Thailand with the work permit
