TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the allowed duration for a spouse on a UK settlement visa to be outside the UK. Initially, there is confusion about whether the limit is 180 days or 90 days per any 12 month period. Comments suggest checking official sources or the embassy, but conflicting information is present, leading to uncertainty among expats regarding travel allowances.
