Hello everyone, not sure if this is the right group to ask but going to give it a try.
I'm looking for advice about the Spouse/Settlement Visa for my Thai partner to come to the UK. We're currently in the process of applying for the Visa application but haven't submitted yet due to Thailand currently being on the red list for the UK. We're both hoping to travel to the UK around January pending being able to enter the UK without having to go through the hotel quarantine.
VFS Global have mentioned the visa application can take up to 90 days to be approved. From my understanding once the visa has been granted there's then a 30 day period in which my partner must enter the UK - otherwise the visa becomes expired?
Does anyone know whether it's possible to extend the 30 day period IF Thailand is still on the UK's red list? If so, could you please share here how you went about that?
Thanks
