I will be getting a Non Imm O (retirement) using an affidavit of income from the Canadian consulate in Chiang Mai and I wonder how long immigration considers the letter valid to apply? One week? One Month? Three months? Anyone have knowledge? I would like to have all my paperwork in hand when I return from my overseas trip to reapply. Thank you
TLDR : Answer Summary
The affidavit of income from the Canadian consulate in Chiang Mai is considered valid for 6 months from the date it is issued. It can be used for both the initial 90-day Non-O visa application and the subsequent yearly extension, without needing another letter from the consulate.
