I obtained my initial 90 day non o retirement visa based on an income affidavit from the Canadian consulate on Friday in Chiang Mai. The officer told me to return in 60 days to do my one year extension. She said nothing about transferring 65000 each month. Is the transfer required? And is the transfer every 30 days or each calendar month? Since there is only one week left in June

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has obtained a 90-day Non-O retirement visa based on a Canadian consulate income affidavit. They are inquiring if a monthly transfer of 65,000 baht is mandatory for their one-year extension. A comment clarifies that the income affidavit from the embassy can be used without needing the monthly transfers, and it can be utilized again for subsequent renewals.

If they didn't give you the affidavit back so you can use it again, you need to get another one from the Canuck Embassy here so you can apply for the year extension.

You can apply in Chiang Mai for a year extension when you have 45 days or less left on your current 90 day stamp from that Non-O visa

NO, no transfers are required, you use the income affidavit as your embassy still issues it

AND

You can continue to use the income affidavit each year without having to transfer in any money.

That's super they did that (y) You should be fine,

Remember though it's a completely NEW application for something (this time it's the yearly extension)

so it will require all new copies, passport data page, entry stamp, Non-O visa, 90 day stamp, TM30, lease, etc

and

a filled out TM7 application for extension form along with a passport sized photo and 1900baht .
