How long does it take to process the 60 Day tourist e-visa (TR)? Do I need to hand in my passport or will I receive the visa sticker at the airport?

Should I apply for the ThaiPass first? (Therefore flights, the Sha++ hotel and insurance).

Also, any advice/tips on booking Sha++ hotels in Phuket?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The processing time for a 60 Day tourist e-visa (TR) is typically quick, with reports of approvals ranging from as little as 4 hours to a few days. You do not need to submit your passport as the visa approval is sent via email in PDF format; simply print it to show at immigration. It's advisable to apply for the ThaiPass simultaneously, though the order of applications seems to be flexible. For SHA++ hotels in Phuket, consider looking for options that fully comply with safety standards, and it is wise to book in advance.

You'll get the visa via email just print it off and show it at Immigration. Got my Non Imm O in 3 or 4 days if I remember.

I got mine approved within 4 hours, did the ThailandPass next day, approved within 8 hours (but I don’t think the order matters). E-visa approval comes with a pdf you need to print and show at immigration

It took me 48 hours and you will get a email sent to you saying if it’s accepted as a pdf format print it off and that’s your visa don’t need to send passport anywhere as it’s all on line now

Apply for both at the same time if the right documents have been uploaded it should only take 5 days for your visa
