For Los Angeles members have reported needing 25k USD, so be careful or avoid it. If you search Los Angeles in this group you'll find complaints about that embassy specifically.

Anonymous participant 658 pardon me but you are WRONG ❌. The Los Angeles Thai Consulate is truly friendly and notably quick to process DTV Visa Applications. Check their website for the current financial requirement... it has ranged from US 15,000 to US $17,000. Currently it is US $17,000.
