Is having your money for a soft power dtv visa ok in a revolut account with it not be fully classed as a bank yet in the UK

Or does it have to be in a verified UK bank.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses whether funds for a Thai soft power DTV visa can be held in a Revolut account, given its status as a bank in the UK. Users confirm that Revolut is now recognized as a bank and that it should be acceptable for visa applications, though it is advised to check with the specific embassy for any additional requirements, such as showing three months of statements.

Should be fine. I believe they have bank license now. But each embassy does have their own quirks… contact them to be sure.

Revolut is fine. Don’t overthink it. But remember, UK makes up additional requirement of demonstrating 3 months statements.
