No one can really tell as no one here is working for embassies... What's sure is they want you to come to spend money here. So it may increase chances who knows...
I think if you’re scraping by to get $15,000 that this is probably not the place for you and maybe you should reevaluate some things in life like seriously Thailand is affordable but there’s a reason they want you out $15,000 so you don’t end up destitute here…
