How long can Italian passport holders stay in Thailand with an E-visa and as tourists without a visa?
Hi all please may I ask some questions: If my kids (Italian passport holders) come back to Thailand, how long can they stay with a Thai E-visa? And what about just entering as a tourist without a visa—how many days can they stay, and can it be extended? If yes, for how long? Thanks in advance 🙏
Answer summary
Italian passport holders can typically stay in Thailand for 60 days under the visa exemption policy when entering as tourists. This can be extended for an additional 30 days at local immigration offices. For those using a Thai E-visa, the duration would be determined by the specifics of the E-visa type, but generally, it also allows for a stay similar to tourist visas.

With Italian passports you’ll normally get a 60 days visa exemption and free stamp upon arrival which can be extended with additional 30 days at your local immigration.
