TLDR : Answer Summary
Multiple users shared their experiences of leaving Thailand after completing a 180-day stay on a DTV visa and returning shortly thereafter. Most reported no issues, with some stating they returned within minutes or hours after exiting, highlighting that there were no questions asked at immigration. They emphasized that having a multi-entry visa allows for re-entry without worries, citing individual experiences from trips to neighboring countries like Laos and Malaysia.
I have done it multiple times as for me one of the benefits of being here is the ability to travel, plus I go back to UK twice a year. I have never had a problem as what you are doing is within the rules. No need to worry about it or be nervous unless they change the rules
I come and go as I wish (so far some 10 entries), and haven't had any problems or questions. Been here since October 2024 on the DTV. Next trip in and out will be in a couple of days. Mine was granted on remote job, if that matters.
Went to NZ for a week. Entering at BKK, the officer asked to see my DTV. (CNX has never asked.) I pulled up a picture on my phone. She looked at it and passed me through.
actually they are asking people to fly out come back in a day or two - i agree with you but they have stated this to fight fraud or questionable activities
immigration when they put out changes on visa exempt that DTV holders wait a day to come back - why I dont fully understand just announcement they made but I dont think they can stop entry with DTV just ask alot of questions. The visa exempt were coming back same day and they are worried about trafficking and muels is my best guess
