TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the latest date they can visit Immigration to obtain their official 60-day stamp, suggesting the 17th as a possible date. Other comments mention the need for an 'under consideration' stamp related to COVID-19 and details about specific immigration offices in Thailand that may have different policies regarding extensions.

FIRST let's find out if you're one of the people down there on the Islands of Misfit Toyz that use either the Samui or the Surat Thani immigration offices?

They were telling people it's okay to come late to get the "under consideration" stamp changed to an extension stamp. BUT as far as I know those are the only offices that are allowing it.

IF you are using those immigration offices post on one of the island f/b groups and ask there however if you're NOT using those offices you show up like everyone else does on the date the stamp in your passport says to go back :)

I am indeed a Misfit. Do they give allowances for us lazy island dwellers? Cool, yeah I think Samui is used to being bombarded with so many people at once so prefers it over a few days. Thank you.

Thanks

I do forget that I can call places sometimes. šŸ™šŸ˜Š

if it is samui, you can call first on 077-423-440 and give them the hand written number on the under consideration stamp and they will let you know if itā€™s ready or when you can pick it up. When you call listen to the options in Thai and then just stay on the line and eventually it will ring and you can speak to a real person.

Do you have an under consideration stamp for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19?
