Hi guys, sorry to bother. I just have a quick question. I'm currently on the 60 day coivd visa extention and need to get another. 60 days. My current visa ends on the 19th June , but I will be travelling. Can I go tomorrow on the 13th and extend or is it too soon? Does the new visa take effect from the 13th or the 19th then?
When I go back to get the other 30 days of the 60 days, do I have to go to the same immigration branch?
Please any info would be appreciated 🙏💚

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their 60-day COVID visa extension in Thailand, wondering if they can do it early before their current visa expires and whether they must return to the same immigration office for the extension. Responses indicate that while theoretically possible, extensions may vary by office, and the outcome is dependent on the officer's discretion. The new visa extension, if granted, typically adds on to the existing visa validity.
You can certainly go and ask but whether you get or not is up to the immigration officer you speak to on the day. There's no entitlement to Covid extensions, no criteria to meet other than TM30 and having already had normal extension, you will either get or not.
