How far in advance can I apply for an O-A visa before traveling to Thailand?

I am in the U.K. about to apply for a new O-A visa online. I had a few question for the London Thai Embassy which I emailed them. I waited a few days for the response which was useless and didn’t answer a single question I put to them.

Anyway I won’t bore you with all the questions just one of them.

Q: How far in advance can I apply/be approved before actually travelling to Thailand and getting an entry stamp?

The guidance I have seen just says ‘Travel as soon as possible’. I would rather have something a bit more specific like how many months.

Anybody actually know or share their experience?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on how far in advance they can apply for and be approved for an O-A visa before traveling to Thailand, specifically looking for a specific duration instead of the vague guidance they received.

ACRO takes longer to get certified. DBS check is under 7 days. And only goes back 5 years. Is accepted for OA. And digital & paper copy too. Only £23. How much is ACRO?

I didn’t know about that I will take a looks. Not sure how much acro is this time. If you pay for the fast service then it’s expensive.

Your GP should sign the medical form. If not can pay to have it signed at private clinic.

The visa lasts a year and you're stamped in for a year on arrival. Any time in visa validity year.
