How early can I apply for a 30-day extension after arriving in Thailand on a METV?
Hello All. Question: My girlfriend and I are traveling to Thailand in one week on METVs. We are hoping to then extend for another 30 days once we are there. How early can one apply for the 30 day extension? Any advice appreciated…thank you!

OPAnthony Webb not entirely sure…our METV will be good for about five months once we enter in bout one week. We want to stay 90 days if possible…t

That most offices you can apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp, some offices are 45 days or less and two offices, jomtien and Samui only let you apply for an extension when you have 7 days or less left on your stamp.

what are you trying to ask? If you can get an extension for more than 30 days or if you can apply for an extension earlier than 30 days or less?. Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Samut Prakan, Buriram and a few other immigration offices allow you to apply for an extension when you have 45 days or less

I think the Chanthaburi Immigration office follows the 30 days or less left on your current stamp for extensionHelio *****
