Hi! We're here on 60 day tourist visa's and would like to extend by 30 days. Do we need to wait until last day or two or will the extension automatically be added onto the end of our 60, meaning we can get it out the way and sorted ahead of time? Thanks. James

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the possibility of applying for a 30-day extension on their 60-day tourist visa before the final days of their current visa. Responses indicate that most immigration offices permit extensions to be submitted as early as 30 days prior, while some may have a shorter window of just 7 days. Additionally, it was clarified that the 30 days will be added to the existing visa stamp, allowing for an early application.

Did you have to show onward travel in your visa application ? i’m after doing the same as you but i dont know if my onward travel would have to be in the 60 days
Thanks Stuart! Will check out what it is here on Koh Phangan. Also, we didn't get a departure card on arrival. Is this normal for a 60 day visa and will we need one for extension like it says in Graham's sheet below?
