Some feedback.
Today doing my 90 day report (thai wife) at Pak Kret, I copped a 2000 baht fine ! I understood the 90 days would restart from the date I extended my visa. Apparently not, it is a regular 90 day cycle irrespective of the visa extension between cycles. I had completed all other 90 day reports on time.
So don't assume your visa extension date restarts the clock on your 90 day report.
TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, the 90-day reporting requirement is separate from visa extensions. A 90-day report must be filed every 90 days, regardless of when a visa extension is granted. If a report is missed, a fine of 2000 baht is imposed. It's essential for expats to track their reporting dates based on prior receipts and to understand their local immigration office's policies, as practices may differ across the numerous offices in Thailand.
