eazycheckth.com will have this info. Pop in your details and what you have etc. It should then give you everything you need.
A lot will depend on how long you want to stay in Thailand.
DTV is in fact just a tourist visa, which can be used for up to 5 years as long as you comply with the visa requirements, but it is not meant to live in Thailand for undefined time.
When that is your purpose you might apply for a real long time visa.
Yes we know all that we've been over Thailand on holiday so many times for an .ED visa my daughter dosent need funds she just needs a sponsorship letter from.us to fund her as we are moving over as a family. We have a lot of savings.
You will need the required funds for each individual applying for a visa. Must be frozen in bank account for minimum 3 months. Many embassies are now requiring 6 months untouched. If your husband is going for muay thai, they will require showing proof of his program enrollment. Some schools will help with his visa. However, many people are having visa denied or downgraded because the program is not long enough.
I would also recommend you do some research from reliable sources on DTV for what the requirements are. Even AI can answer your questions probably better than some forum on Facebook.
Anonymous participant I am doing the same thing going as my husband’s spouse with a sponsor letter he applied in London and was approved I’ve just submitted my application you need the funds for each applicant I used my husband’s bank statements to support my application along with the sponsorship letter
Will your 14 year old like doing Online schooling? What about the time differences? Is he used to going to an in person school? Sounds a bit selfish if you're pulling him from school. Sorry.
LongTimeLivingInThailand yes he prefers home schooled and there are different options you can take which is live lessons uk time which will be 4pm.until 10pm or lessons without it being live. We don't know where we will end up living and don't want to be tied to a school.if we don't like the area so this might be temporary.
Recommended Order of OperationsStep 1: Your husband submits his primary Muay Thai DTV application through the Thai E-Visa Portal.Step 2: Once his visa is fully approved and issued, you and your 14-year-old son submit your dependent applications using his approved DTV visa number as the anchor.Step 3: Concurrently, your 20-year-old daughter applies for her ED visa using her language school documents and your financial sponsorship letters.
14-Year-Old Son (Online Schooling): Incorrect. This is your primary hurdle. Thailand does not recognize online schooling as a valid basis for an independent study visa, nor can a minor live in Thailand without a legal visa tied to a physical institution. The Solution: Since he is 14 (under 20), he should absolutely apply as a DTV dependent under your husband. He will receive a dependent DTV just like you,
