Hi, I want to apply for the Thailand Pass but I’m trying to figure out how to upload the passport photo and the Passport info page. Do I just take a picture of the passport and photo with my phone? How do I get the files onto the computer so I can then drag and drop or whatever? I guess I’m not tech savvy! 😭 I would be grateful for any help! TYIA.

Nice. Good for you.

Remember to print your

Thailand pass

PCR test,

medical insurance, with the word 50'000 next to covid 19

sha extra + hotel booking with prepaid airport transfer and PCR tests.

At Thai immigration they asked to see a hotel reservations for where I was staying after the Sha extra + hotel. I have never been asked for this before. I quickly booked a hotel on booking.com that didn't need a credit card and had free cancellation. I cancelled it as soon as I cleared immigration. The guy behind me said he was staying at a friend's house and they let him in, so maybe I'm not a smooth enough talker.

I left from Vietnam, so this might not apply to you, but they also asked me to book a flight out of Thailand before letting me check in in Vietnam. I used a dummy ticket and it only cost $5 and was accepted.

All the Sha extra + hotel people are waiting on the other side of immigration all day and they take people in batches. You don't need to worry about them not being there.

Hi Daniel Re the passport info page. Do I just take a picture of the passport and photo with my phone? Answer yes. Make sure it is clear and legible. You could Bluetooth it to your pc or laptop if it has Bluetooth. Or email it to yourself and open the email on the computer or send it to yourself on FB messenger or another messaging app. Or connect your phone to the computer with a USB cable to transfer it across. Your charger cable would do it. I used Bluetooth or email. Any pdfs I think it's possible to open on a pc and using save as rather than save I am pretty sure you can save as a different file type. Choose jpg to upload. Or just print it and take a picture of it.

1) As someone already said : you can apply from your phone.

But if you feel more comfortable doing it from your computer, then...

(2) ...an easy way to transfer pictures from your phone to computer for those not tech savvy is to mail the pictures it to yourself from your phone, and then open your mail on your computer and save it there for further use.

Just reduce the size of the picture, if big size can't upload and should be pdf

If you're going to rely on pictures from your phone, it might be easier to do the application from your phone because everything has to be uploaded as an image, no PDFs accepted. Just take photos of screenshots of things
