TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of transferring a 30-day visa to a new passport in Thailand does not require a specific document from the embassy. You should bring both your old and new passports to the Immigration Office. However, note that 30-day visas are technically not issued as stickers and cannot be transferred. Instead, present both passports to the immigration officer when you need to prove your visa status.

Sorry, but time to close it down. Take both your passports with you and present them to the Immigration Officer when you leave Thailand.

As far as I know, Thailand does not have 30 day visa's.

You take your new and old passport and the letter from your Embassy to the Immigration Office to transfer long term Extensions of Stay.

a Visa sticker can not be transferred, so you use both passports as long as the visa is valid

Do you need a letter from the embassy to transfer a 30 days visa too?
