Has anyone investigated how you renew your retirement visa or check in if you are mentally or physically disabled? I live in Bangkok. I understand a will or poa or living will etc. helps. If you know anyone who has experienced this, that would be valuable. Please only serious responses.

I am 68 and similarly thinking the same as you but the retirement visa seems easiest for this …

I have a retirement visa, multiple entry. However I always use an agent. It costs a bit more, but they take care of everything.

no, you don't have a retirement visa with a multi re-entry permit. There is nothing such. You have a 1-year extended stay permit based on retirement for which you bought a multi re-entry permit. The 1-year Extension of (the) Stay Permit is NOT a visa

Either a 90 day Non-O visa with 12 month extension and re-entry permit or a 12 month Non-OA visa which is multiple entry out of the box, but requires insurance, police check etc. Unless you work remotely in which case you need the DTV based on Workation

When did you obtain your multi-entry Non-O retirement visa? I used to get that but they made it single-entry only, a few years ago, at least through the UK embassy. Which embassy did you use?

Geoff Nolan he could never have used ANY Thai embassy or consulate, because

is dreaming. The last Thai consulate to issue a multi entry 1-year Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa was the Royal Thai General Consulate of Savannakhet, Laos, and this was around the end of the year 2023. That was before all Thai embassies went to the e-visa online system starting in 2024

The Non O is a 90 day single entry visa. Non OA is 1 year multi-entry.

since October 2023, no Thai embassy or consulate has issued any multi entry Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa. What you have got apparently is a multi re-entry permit you bought for a 1-year extension of stay permit based on retirement. Or you confuse your Non-O/A multi entry Longstay Visa with the 90-days Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa

Graham Seal my point ..

just stating a fact in relation to my having a non o multi entry retirement visa

Which is the truth

I'm not aware of any Thai embassy or consulate that will sell a multi-entry Non O visa. You can leave and return provided you have a reentry permit up until the date your initial Non O entry was stamped. 90 day reports are not required on an initial Non O until you apply for the annual extension.

What is your point in posting something full of contradictions?

Non O 90 day visa before you come to Thailand. Open Bank account and 800k seasoned then apply for yearly extension. Get a multiple entry from immigration so you can come and go on the extension

A retirement visa/extension would be best.

Tevita Tuki He only intends to return once or twice per year. Two single re-entry permits would be half the price and would take no longer to obtain. Though personally I would only get one at a time at the airport on exit, as needed.
