I live in my Thai boyfriend's family home rent free. How do I go about filing a TM-30?

I've never actually done it before, but been living here on a non-b visa for a year. Nobody ever said anything to me about it... I always assumed my employer handled everything. My visa expires on Sunday, and I'm doing a visa run to Vietnam and coming back into Thailand visa exempt for 30 days. Should I warn the family about the TM-30?
