Has anyone left Australia recently to go to Thailand? How easy or hard is it to get clearance from the government? Do you have to have compelling reasons? If so, what’s the best ones?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the challenges Australians face in obtaining government clearance to travel to Thailand. Comments suggest that having a work contract can facilitate the process, while others express frustration about lengthy waits to return to Thailand. Additionally, there seems to be a stipulation that travelers need to stay in Australia for at least three months before being allowed to depart, although there are anecdotal reports of recent travel.

Kim Armstrong. That's fine. When you said you wish, it gives the impression you had been denied. So it's your choice to stay there.
